They are absolutely right. India cant be a developed country if we wear a dress like westerners & behave like them. I think the author is obsessed with western culture. India has so many Engineers & doctors because, there is no distractions ulike in the west. I am sick of people preaching western culture in India. Sure we should should have infrastructure they have but not their way of life. It doesnt mean that we are in 21st century if a boy and girl kisses in public. Western people are individualistic & doesnt care their family or elders. Does author encourage Indians to adapt such a culture. Its so silly.

why do u keep saying WESTERN always.because of u india is still in this stage.freedom is for everyone including youngsters.there is no problem if a pair kisses in parks and dances in bars.until they can avoid AIDS etc..its better to have safe sex.u have no right to object anyones's desires
