Wrong Accusations
by Michael on Oct 04, 2005 05:02 PM   Permalink

I do not agree with you Shoba. You are trying to portray a wrong picture of Chennai. In the matter of the actress, As an Individual, you are free to express your views. But when you are answering a sensitive question, you must be prudent enough with your answers. You cannot say anything and everything you want. You cannot generalise what you think.
Second, when there are certain rules made and followed in a particular community(student community), you are obliged to follow the same, and you are expected to do so. The students have not complained about the dress code except a few. Only the outsiders are commenting on it. Third, Park is a common place. I have been there with my friends. I never encountered such problems, except few peeps from others. Fourth, The police have issued clear instructions about parties in the hotels or bars. When you are going against the law, definitely they have a role to play to control you. The fifth, I hope in your first night it happened. And finally, when you post something common in a website, be prudent and sensible. You are going to be read by so many. your ideas should not confuse, degrade or mislead. India needs responsible people. Let us be so
