How dare you kiss in Chennai?

I am surprised at the sarcasm in this article; What is wrong in ensuring that public decency(scenario 1) is maintained, the dance clubs do not become a place for brothel (scenario 2), college is not a place for fashion show (scenario 3) & some stupid actress does not teach her Ideology(pre-marital intimate relationship) to the public (scenario 4)?

This is not a western culture and we do not want those bad influences affect us... Agreed, there are so many things going on behind the curtains, everywhere... but lets not make it a public habit.

It was stupid of the actress to say things like that, especially in place like TN, where people worship the film personalities. If she was having fun before marriage, it was her choice (or no-choice); but let her not justify it. Schools and colleges are for education and not for fashion parade...

We want to forward thinking, but not at the expense of losing the values. It is so sad to see even (usually) good writers sometimes take the wrong side, in the pretext of liberty and freedom for all...

Shame on you...

Dude wake up. Influenced by bad western culture and all that. Care to prepare a balance sheet of what the Western culture has achieved and what your stiff Chennai culture has? And if you so abhor the Western culture then why in the name of God do you and your brethen come to the US by the plane load? Can't resist the Western money....can you? Listen, we all know what Chennai is like. Don't get upset. And by the way, I am an Indian too.
