Its so strange that, the author, who does numerous interviews with great personalities, has written an article just for kicks!!! If this was targeted at getting more young minds to follow your articles, then, I am sorry to say that you have not done your primary duty towards the society at large.
Please don't write only negatives about our great culture and tradition. This makes the readers feel that indian culture is bad and should not be followed. Rather, we need people like you to write good things as well about our culture, so that we can learn and understand it better.
Indian culture has withstood the test of time. I do agree that there are some things which need to change. But that doesn't happen when you don't understand your culture. Present day people, thanks to media, are ignorant about our culture and tradition. Only with knowledge, we can change ourselves and make the society a better place.
Lets strive towards understand the culture and in the process better ourselves and our great old culture and tradition. Lets not loose the wealth which our forefathers have given us. Let us understand where we have misunderstood them and then rectify.
