This article just about brings everything that chennai is, to the table. Intolerance - moral, behavioural, language, you name it, it's there. I was appalled at reading about what actress Khushboo faced after her comments on safe sex and pre-marital virginity, and the fact is, it's reality today, whether you want to accept it or not! Indians will never have the guts to face up to something when it socks them in the face. But they are all game for carrying on something clandestinely, be it in relationships, or politics. Chennai-ites are fine with the fat thighs, open mouth kissing and sexual innuendoes on screen, but you talk about it in print, and you've had it!

...but just because u've done it why do u want to believe that everyone else have also done it. It also seems that u believe the concept of a 12 year gal getting pregnant just because she wants to do so, to be right. This happens every now and then in the western culture...coz their parents have no say on their kids(ofcourse not all). Y my 12 year old sis doesn't do the same is because we have our kinda societal impacts which governs our day to day activities. I want my sis to be good and safe...thats all I want from my society...and thats exactly y humans started to create concepts of families and society, I believe. He didn't want his kith and kin to be harmed... only a societal concept provided him with maximum protection.
So if try to legalize all the behind the veil issues then u sud be really ready face the consequences. R u ready really?
Kissing in public was long accepted in this Tamilian society in the stone ages...along with that raping(public or not) was also accepted. Hope u get my point...
