I have been to Chennai and knew their adherence to some believes which looks completely illogical but this story is height of introvert culture. To add, one of my junior, who is from north India, joined an engineering college who this year and within first week she was informed by the principal not to wear those jeans and shirts; and mind it neither the jeans were tight and nor the shirts were sleeveless. As per him she should wear Salwar in the college. This is the most hated example of restriction I have ever seen in my whole life.
