This is the most ridiculous article i have ever read - i have lived in chennai for 3 years and never seen anything like this or what is described in here.
About kissing in public places - except if you are too much expressive in love and are touching private parts, you are free to do anything - the cops have already had a hard time handling the "30 rs" prostituion. if you donot know what it means then please do visit the beaches in chennai or talk to a constable about this....
Cops in discos and restrain of sex during different week days - nice joke - but surely not a fact. Now i did understand why foreigners ask indians - "do u still travel in elephants?"
