Never mind Musharraf's endless disavowals of further jihadi links, the reality is that they created this jihadi menace but they expect everyone else to deal with the mess and clean it up, just like they expect the world to bail them out of their earthquake. This hubris comes from Pakistani dictators being spoilt children who've never had to face accountability and penalty. The only thing that will 'drain the swamp' of fanaticism is a sea change in Pak politics, as occurred after Zia's planecrash.
