I strongly feel that the court should go ahead announce the sentence irrespective of the pre-conditions the government has agreed to. It is upto the government to implement that sentence. Moreover, why should India bow to the dictates of an insignificant country like Portugal? If this continues, we would see our gangsters taking refuge in places such as Somalia and their governments imposing ridiculous pre-conditions on us. This is ridiculous and our politicians should for once show that they have the guts to take a tough decision.
