The whole controversy started when Thankarbachan made a comment about female artists. Manorama, Kushboo and team protested and Thankar apologised. I see that there is no difference between Kushboo and Thankars issues. Person A made a comment that offended Group B. Whether its Thankar or Kushboo - the rules are same. Democracy is excercising your rights without encroaching others rights and sentiments. When person A hurts the sentiments of person B he/she has violated the priciples of democracy. Please answer this question directly: Would you say to your sister/daughter/son "Having Sex before marriage is OK. You just have to take the right precautions". That to me is a careless loose talk. Kushboo's intentions might have been correct, but she just was not able to articulate her ideas properly. The subject being so sensitive i would have adviced Kushboo to prepare/think and then make responsible statements.
