What do muslims need to be "saved" from? In this largely peaceful hindu-majority nation, muslims are allowed to pray, practise and profess thier religion (Which also means turning a blind eye to traffic problems caused by muslims praying on the street). No POTA now, so less terrorists (who were mostly muslims) can be arrested on suspicion. Any allegation against muslims is turned down using secularism as an excuse, so much so that a whole national machinery plots to castigate riots in the most peaceful and progressive state of India sparked after muslims killed innocent hindu women and children. Blind eyes are turned to muslims celebrating India's defeat to pakistan in sports. Will such be tolerated in any other nation, even pakistan? So, what has laloo saved muslims from?
.
I'll tell you. He has posted muslims in charge of most thanas in Bihar who have turned a blind eye to criminal activities including smuggling drugs and ISI spies through Nepal. That is his saviour act. Some claim even dawood ibrahim has a passport and driving license from Bihar. So, he has saved criminal muslims from punishment.
