It is high time Bharat asserts itself in international fora. Specifically in the case of UN, if we are compensated less for our military service than 'white' nations, we should refuse to play ball. I agree with Shri. Rajeev that we should make it clear now that a permanent seat at the security council without the veto power will not be acceptable to us; simply put, we refuse to be treated as second-class citizens !!
