I request Mr. Rajeev Srinivasan to please check his facts. Switzerland was admitted as a member of the UN on 10th Sep. 2002.
It is true that it is not a member of the EU.
The UN has simply ceased to be a force at all. Never mind good or bad, how can someone be either if they have no force left? Hence what the UN needs can best be described using medical terminology...HRT i.e. Hormone Replacement Therapy.
India should leave the UN and instead concentrate on building itself as a superpower in every respect....then India can emabark on building a rival system of international cooperation.
