Disintegration of Motherland
by Maneesh Upmanyu on May 10, 2005 12:01 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Hi

This report is not new in certain aspects.

1) Hatred for the motherland(INDIA): this is very much a part of people from many other states..whether it is in J&K, northeast, punjab or tamil nadu, this hatred is still left with some people. and the fact is no one is working to unify our motherland.

2) burning of bengali script.. is this diff. from TN polititions criticism of use of Hindi in there state(there zone of influence). These people have no problems in adopting a foreign language but have bullshit reasons from adopting another national language. Recently there was a storm in the house against the use of hindi on the milestones...did any one do any thing to oppose this dirty political moves.

I am a student, and am studying in a diff state. I know the indifference people have towards there batchmates from different states..

3) supported by the church....india is a secular country, over here minorities enjoy extra privelages...till the day present majority is counted as minorites this would continue...no one would dare stand against the minorites they would be protected...the fact is we are scared of ourself and are indifferent to our past.
