VHP/ShivSena etc do not enjoy confidence of majority Hindus. I want to know that does All-India Muslim Personal Law Board enjoy the confidence of majority muslims ? I hope not.
Any communal force is a threat to our Country.
Nobody can critisize Islam in public. This means that common muslims can never enter into any kind of debate on Islam. This means that there can be no progress in the mindset of muslims. This is SAD.
Though debates and questions on Hinduism and other religions should not stop. India has to get out of the communal rot.
Indian Christians are rejecting the church, but accepting Jesus. I find this progressive.
India has unique Spiritual Knowledge. I am sure that the changes in the muslim religion should come from India and India should drive the muslim world.
I am advocating change in all religions. Change should never be prohibited. It is against nature.

CUSTOMS are different from CODES.
In south India or north India, tribals or city dwellers, residents or NRI, nowhere among Hindus, you would find a permission for husband being allowed to say three words and leave his wife, nowhere in world you would find a hindu husband allowed some fictitious excuses to legally be allowed to nourish his lust from more than one woman.
Whether that one woman is his niece, or unrelated, IS NOT THE MEANING OF CODE, IF YOU KNOW ENGLISH! The word is customs.

The RSS or BJP hs failed to produce a common Hindu law which should be acceptable to all the Hindu communities. today the tribals have thousands of their customary laws acceptable under our judiciary system. In south, for marriages, it is preferred among Hindus to marry their daughters to her maternal uncle. In north it is not acceptable among Hindus. In kerela the women head the family, in Bihar the male. Before advising Muslims to accept UCC, first all the Hindus accept a common Hindu code.

There is no such thing as common Hindu code.
Even there is no such thing as common Christian Code and seperate courts for them in INDIA.
There are no special courts for SIKH's,JAIN's,PARSI's.
Why do you have seperate courts for Muslims when good for nothing CONGRESS party and its crony UPA's wants everybody to be SECULAR.
I hope SECULAR means every body should be treated atleast before the eyes of law.
When you have seperate laws only for MUSLIMS and they don't stick with the law of the land (they stick with SAUDI ARABIAN law) it is going to be big trouble.
It can create another PAKISTAN & BANGLADESH all over (inside INDIA).
I hope SECULARIST get it but when they get it.
You know when they will get it when another country gets created out of india only then they will get it. But will it be in their memory no not for long.
It will be like the GREAT INDIAN Diplomacy.
Make peace with Pakistan and China and they will screw us immediately and we do our usual crying.

i dont know why u think that ucc should set guidelines on what you should do. they will focus on what is wrong. for example, polygamy should definitely be banned irrespective of the religion of the person.
the code will say what is treated as an offence and it will be applicable to everybody.
