Fundamentally flawed rationale
by Murali Gopal on Mar 23, 2005 03:59 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

There are two things that need to be understood here-- one is probably a case of inefficiency (in which case the leader needs to resign, Kamaraj and PV Rao probably fall in this category). The second category is deliberately supporting and inciting violence. Remember Modi (who's elected to safeguard the people) is supporting the killing--that's just unpardonable.

Also, just because no action was taken against leaders past doesn't mean that Modi should also get a free pass. It's like a killer saying,"my neighbor killed someone and got away, so i am also entitled to kill".

The US openly and shamelessly associates with Musharraf and China and Saudi Arabia, without so much as blinking an eye. And you want to pick on Modi , who is democratically elected , and in whose state there is freedom and pluralism.
