Emergency & the Darkest Era of Indian Politics!
by Gigimon M.V. on Jun 29, 2005 12:08 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Hi Rediff,

It is 100% true that the Emergency Period declared by Mrs. Gandhi was one of the darkest eras of Indian History. But, in my opinion, it was not as darkest as that of Mr. Modi's Reign in Gujarat and religious riots. I am not justifying the Emergency, but Mrs. Gandhi was not as Mad or Maniac as that of Mr. Modi. He was only a Chief Minister and such a public violence by the Gundas supported by a truly elected State Goverment may be the first of its kind in Indian History. Please tell as how do you say that "the people of India know the true value of Democracy, Mr. Modi was re-elected just after the riots."

Best Regards,

Gigimon M.V.

U get the reply in the statement itself.... That means people of Gujrat feel that Modi is just being framed by the so called secular parties hand in hand with the media. As simple as that. Try and understand that whatever is shown to you need not always be the correct thing.

Whatever is shown need not be true... but there are somethings that can't be hidden forever... such as the dark face of the Gujarat CM. And dat he was elected again doesnt mean that what he did was right...
