I am happy to read about the character of babubai patel We can hardly find officers like him. Congress never learnt a lesson from the black days. I think the writer is more emotional than rational. No individual with a rational bent of mind would even think of imposing emergency in democracy when there is neither internal or external threat. Sridhar
