Jinnah did a lot of mistakes. It is a known fact. But how long we have to carry that enimity? Till our age or even further ? What is your solution to establish peace ? By continuing that same enimity further any fruitful thing can be expected ?
Partititon is an irreversible process that happened without our control. Eventhough our mind is not ready to accept it we have to. This is essential to live both of us (Indians & Pakistanis) in harmony. There is no meaning in carrying forward. Advani also knows those things well than any of us. He saw Jinnah more familiarly than us.
Now, When that country is inviting him (that too a hardcore Hindu and opposition leader.. not ruling candidate) it is the opportunity of him to do something more to increase the faith among the people of both countries. Eventhough what he said is not near to truth (which he knows !! ) he did for the better interest of the people...
Everyone must think this reality and support Advani. He is the tallest leader next to Atalji and they both guided the country well within govt and also outside govt. Their constructive contribution outside (as oppn in parliament) the govt is valuable. Thnks
Do you want to know a secret about Jinnah? He didn't even like Moslems! He liked Parsees, Christians,Anglo-Indians, even the British. He didn't mind Hindus too much, though he had an intense jealousy of Hindu leaders like Nehru, Gandhi and Patel. He wanted power, and he whipped up rabid communal feelings in the Moslems( which were latent anyway) in order to obtain it. His politics were entirely communal, not to mention obnoxious, dirty and violent!
