Mr. Advani's comments about Jinnha
by Sushil Pugalia on Jun 08, 2005 06:45 PM   Permalink

As per historic records, Jinnha can not be tolerated or forgiven for what he did to this suncontinent.

However, sticking to the past will not serve us any thing. He is not here to bear the result of his misdeeds. It is better to create space between the hardliners and progressive group in both countries so that more and more interactions in peoples are made. Let hardliners be happy that one hard liner stop to be aggressive against them. But the object is to get like minded peoples to be closer.

If we are not having healthy relations between two nations, it is not because of moderate or progressive peoples, but because of these hardliners who control Pakistan. Musharaff could have signed on the dotted line with Atalji, had he did not visualise hardliners in his country. Just remember, how his return was kept secret while all other things were 'live' on media.

If you want to achieve something, then something else has to go. A flower converts into fruit at proper time. So its time to get the fruit and let the flower 'go'. If you just get struck with the beauty of flower, then you will never have a fruit.

I think Mr. Advani is a wise person and has taken good step.
