Another great historian and scholar teaching us

Sir, are you truly not ashamed of writing such ridiculous articles:

a.) Your detailed study of which school should have done what is hilarious; bottom-line is fatwa has been issued and the personal law board has approved it. If some Muslims opposed the fatwa good but the fatwa still holds. Why are you blaming the press and the Hindus for this?

b.) For Sati and dowry related problems we have the Indian law and no Hindu saint/priest decrees on it and even if they do they are punishable. In the case of Muslims they can be governed by a different law - wow and you defend this!!!

c.) Dont try to live in self-denial that there is a problem, I am amazed how you can carry forward this negationist attitude of yours forward (for any reader out here I suggest you read the book "Negationism in India" by Koenraad Elst and the credentials of the author and his fraternity will be truly exposed.

If you are not blinkered (I equate you and your counterparts to the medieval church in Europe who would oppose any rational and scientific arguments) and open your eyes you will figure out that the world is totally different from what you want us to believe. Please grow up sir...

Thanks for reminding me this. I was responding to a specific article and that is what I have done to show how the author has taken away the main issue by giving absurd logic.

I definetely feel for the woman involved and for any woman whose modestly is outraged. But when a specific and different line of thought is brought in, I believe, that even this needs to be countered- you might not agree with me but well...

Sir, on your inference that rape does not violence well I am not so sure about that too...

Sir,

A rape has less to do with sex than it has to do with VIOLENCE! The woman was attacked. She was robbed what little was left of her dignitiy - as a woman and as a HUMAN BEING. Can you not see this? Are you blind? Your response to the article - whatever its strengths - clearly show that you are more interested in your intellectual point than what someone else has suffered...

To you sir, my cry is 'have a heart, sir'
