The Supreme Court order restrict the use of loudspeakers and bursting of crackers is welcome. However, who is to implement them? Experience has shown that in Gujarat, specially in Ahmedabad, the Hon'ble High Court had prohibited bursting of fire crackers in the night, but this is more observed in breach than in compliance; what is more, such cracker bursts take place in the vicinity of the Judges Bungalows!!
