Five lessons from London
by V.Shrinivas on Jul 09, 2005 03:31 AM   Permalink

Though just a common man not thoroughly conversant with Political matters, both International and National, I can discern the remarkable soundness of Mr. Ramans analysis and suggestions. Personally I have been always critical of the way The U.S. had been handling the problems of West Asia (formerly described as Middle East). The out of bounds and if I may say so atrocious, Big Brother activities of The U.S. with its military power is in my opinion un-condonable and unconscionable.
I am one of such stupid persons who believe in the divine dictum Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall inherit the earth.

The United Nations must work as genuinely the united nations of the entire world and should take thoroughly unbiased and earnest measures to arrive at a peaceful solution to the Terrorists problem.

I am reminded of joke from the book Absolute Zero Gravity wherein there is a poser to solvers of Middle Eastern problems: God sent Moses, and he couldnt fix it; he sent Jesus, and he couldnt fix it. He sent Mohammad, and he couldnt fix it. Do you think you can fix it?
