Imrana & Secular India
by Arshad Ali on Jul 27, 2005 12:12 PM   Permalink

Those who talks about secular India how they forget that whenever there is any opening ceremony or inauguration function you always find A pundit chatting mantras and a coconut with a Ganesh Idol, how can be a country secular with a record of a Former Prime Minister (Narsimha Rao) who plan and execute the dismantling of a religious site of a minority community,
How can be a country secular when they rename street and cities because its name to some secular leader or country,
This is just hypocrisy and India must learn to live with truth that there is nothing called minorities and whatever minorities are living, they are as like any other citizens and must provide them equal rights of life,
