I was really shocked to read about the ignorant attitude of the so called high class people in the tsunami affected villages. Eventhough it is disgusting to see their attitude, I urge the writers not to insinuate any ill-will between the communities, because the people already have a lot on their hands right now.
I am sure we will have time for retrospect later. Also, if this brings about a change in the attitude of the people(am sure thats what the idea behind the article is) then it is wonderful. But I doubt if we have enough time to bring about changes in people now.
I wish to take this opportunity to state my admiration for all the wonderful work carried on by the people. I am touched by the strength and unity shown by different people to come together to help each other in such a situation.
I hope and pray we recover from this horrible disaster as better persons.
