This is total absurd article I have ever seen!
by Madhab on Feb 22, 2005 11:32 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

This man Mr. Srinivasan, being a Tamil Brahmin himself thinks, he's the greatest human being God has ever made. I read his article not for something new to know, but how much more racist and non-sense article that he's writing. He has an absurd mentality that anybody--not Indian Hindu(read Tamil Brahmin!)-is out to destroy India. He thinks all these people living in China, Nepal, North East India, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Pakistan etc.. are not human beings at all,but some hungry evils out there to destroy the Brahminical Hindu society of India that Mr. Srinivasan is living in. My fellow countrymen, never give damn care to what he writes! Anyway, he writes so crab things, that too, in so bad taste English--it hardly matters to us. To speak the truth after living with Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Malaysians, Singaporeans, Australians, Americans, Indonesians and so many other nationalities, I have realized, its only Indians who are obsessed with others. Indians think we are the greatest human beings God has ever made, and if any foreigner doesn't treat the Indian that way, he/she feels as if others are all there for destroying India. Its sheer paranoia that every Indian is suffering from!

I definitely do not think him to be of Indian origin. He doesnt sound like an Indian but rather sounds like one from North East or North ( you know what I mean).

madhab, do u know that ur peaceful china has still close to a 500,000sqkm(Manassarovar,Kailash,Aksaichin) of indian land occupied in 1962.do u know that china has setup sophisticated intelligence posts in cocos islands(of burma) near andamans to spy on DRDO, Hyderabad and ISRO,Bangalore. do u know that ur china gave pakistan its current nuclear technologies way back in 1970's, a fact asserted by CIA. Do u know that 1.5 crore bangladeshis have arrived in india worsening the security situation in the already fragile north east. Do u know that both Xinjiang and Tibet were fiercely independent states in the not so past times. and finally , there are more than 600,000 chinese illegally residing in burma currently that has sparked of violence & protests in Shan,Karen and Arbakan provinces of that country. the author may be a Tamil Brahmin, but he hasn't made any casteist remarks here.try to know all facts and start caring about ur country(INDIA) a little more.

Madhab, you really ought to get your facts right before you put down your vacuous thoughts in a public forum. On what basis do you say that the writer is a Tamil Brahmin...I happen to know that this is not true? Also although I do not necessarily condone the article, I do feel that you should set aside your preconceived notions before you read a new article and pass judgements!

One more addition to what sandeep has said.
The famous cocos island on which china has listening/monitoring posts have been gifted by "The Great Idiot" Nehru to Burma.China promptly took the islands on lease of 100 yrs and have set up these posts

Madhab, you are as usual talking nonsense. India being what it is-one of the four oldest civilisations, and a modern vibrant democracy to boot- is entitled to a large measure of respect. The kind of liberties many commentators take with India would not be dared with China or Saudi Arabia for fear of recriminations. Many Indians do perceive that the world is not respecting/acknowledging them, as that is why they get agitated. It's a natural and healthy feeling.
