GOVERNOR
by deepak j singh on Feb 26, 2005 11:09 AM   Permalink

Hi,
Either the writer of this articalis badly informed or he is a congress basher.I am a residentof Goa and I know how democratic the parrikar government was.Anyway thats not a issue.Mr.Shenoy says,-i quote,
"This brings up a curious fact. Can anyone recall another such instance of a governor overstepping his bounds between 1998 and 2005? The last time it happened was when Romesh Bhandari put Jagdambika Pal in office after hastily dismissing Kalyan Singh, but the prime minister of the time was the hapless I K Gujral. It has taken less than a year after the Congress came to power in Delhi for the old bad habits to be restored" end qoute.
Mr.Shenoy, what about 1999 when Mr.Ranes government eas dissmissed by the Governor without any kind of trial of strength? Guess who was the union home minister? None other than Mr. Advani. What about the happenings in the north east? All above board Mr.Shenoy??

Regards,
Deepak.
