Death of Democracy
by NANDAN PENDSE on Feb 09, 2005 12:53 PM   Permalink

I am fully agree with the thoughts expressed by Mr. Shenoy. I never heard till date any Chief Minister is getting oath at nearly midnight. But our great Jameer has done this.

Please recall 1992/93 riots. Maximum riots took place in Maharashtra where congress was ruling. But Congress govt. in centre was happy to dismiss Rajsthan, MP and Delhi govts because they were ruled by BJP. If am correct Supreme Court afterone and half year of dismissal censured the central government for its wrong doing. Now this will surely happen this time also as already one PIL is filed in Supreme Court and BJP is challenging Jameer's action in Bombay High Court-Panaji Bench.

But this will continue in our world's largest democratic country as congress (whose leaders only know that for serving people power is the only solution) is in power again at centre.

What to say about our LALBHAIS(all communists). They have presently no time to comment on Goa Governor because they are busy in crying for Nepal Naresh's action in toppling the elected govt. there.
