"Rahmat Ali also formulated demands for Muslim states in the Continent of Dinia [Ali's name for India], namely: Muinistan, Haidaristan, Faruqistan, Osmanistan in Hyderabad Deccan, Maplistan in the south west (Kannada), and Siddiquistan (north of Osmanistan). He also advocated that Bangladesh should be a separate Muslim state called Bangistan. These Muslim states in Dinia would then form a Pak Commonwealth of Nations allied to P.A.K.I.S.T.A.N." In a nutshell, credit for the concept of Islamic Caliphate goes by priority to Rehmat Ali rather than bin Laden. However, bin Laden apparently extended the area all the way from Morocco to Indonesia, as one Pan-Islamic Empire. These facts reveal the reason for the support that Taliban and al Qaeda received (and continue to receive) from Pakistan. More important, Rehmat Ali's dream has not been abandoned by PAKISTAN. It has been kept temporarily in abeyance, because Pakistan thinks the present times are not conducive to pursue the ideas overtly.
