It is depressing how democracy is abused in the form of safeguarding the minority or backward. It is surprising economical strata of a person is not given any weightage and u cant expect any thing reasonable from this power hungry politicians whether we have a great economist as PM or a great scientist as President.

Dear KK, this is for your information and information of all . the reservation bill has already being passed in dec 2005. and guess what it has also being signed off in Jan 06 by our al mighty president. what arjun singh has done is triggered the implementation of bill for HIS own vested motives.
You talk about being oppressed for 2000years...amazing what else u doing now. You are doing the same. You are worried about the NRI brahmins who are paying rediff. I seriously pity you.
Dost RESERVATION is alm [ BHEEK bolte hai isse] may be the 2000 oppression has still got imbibed in your core that you cant survive without this BHEEK.

when a bill is not even passed you forward castes people more worried and are opposing it suddenly..what about the oppression others had all through this 2000 years and it is still continuing. I blame Rediff for continuosly posting Anti-reservation columns. Don't you have any dalit writers or columnists of depressed societies. may be you guys are making money out of brahmin NRIs but we have no technologies and no proper english and we don't have power to give our views in public but we will show it in VOTES. gudos to DPA.

Why are you some much worried aout reservations, during my exams I used to worry about what all questions will be asked, and this worry only kept me ahead in my studies, looks like you people always worry, when would the quota be increased for you people.
Also.. just because some one harrased a community for 2000 years, you want the reservations for next 2000 years? Dont you think (sorry, I know you people dont have brains) 50-60 years were MORE than enough for quota?
Just try to work hard, you would enjoy the hard earned meal.
