A little less dilpomacy, perhaps?

One understands the High Commissioner's affinity for diplomatic jargon...it's cdertainly a part of her job. However, there is such a thing as too much sugar. Was it only me, or was Veena Sikri laying it on a bit thick? There are times when one should call a spade a spade. From her over-use of 'diplomatese' the only thing that comes across is that she (and by extension, India) is afraid on stepping on some toes here. And that is something I fail to understand.
Is it because we don't have much clout over that country? Is it because we are not a big donor of aid to that country, that we cannot turn off the proverbial tap?
