there was this hindi movie (guess munna bhai mbbs) that i was watching in which sunil dutt talks about average indians thoughts, no job, much traffic, much pollution, fight with wife etc etc & these are the people that have their disgruntled comments here in rediff, but a quantitative analyis of the root cause of discontent is something else, and rajeev and many more in here are trying to relate it in a communal fashion and voice their frustrations, that is all to it & kudos to the above radhika who voice such mature thoughts

i think one should come out of their shelves and try for self improvement and raising your bars of self esteem, cause these kind of negating thoughts are self defeating...it would only eat you inside and corrode your mind...go to larger universities, travel abroad and look for the good in other people, come out of your groups and dont be afraid, i have had friends who are christians, muslims and hindus who are a gem...and dont take up isolated events, and stir up the crowd. what happened with maniappan is really sad, but then there are hundreds of indian soldiers dying everyday, protecting our country, from terrorist bullets and harsh icy terrains, then
