Sorry to say, your information on the matter of Al-Quran and Shariah is totally absurd and rotten with a flavor of western view on Islam.
"An Eye for an Eye" applies everywhere,Voilence of any type is in every religion Including the epics "Ramayana" and "Mahabharata".
I have many convert friends who were HINDUS but now are MUSLIMS and i am ashamed to be a kind of muslim that i am.They are 1000 times better than i am. The answers to your questions can be obtained only by you .
Please try to go thru the Al-Quran( translation ) once and then point a finger at it. Muslims now adays are "Astray" and do not represent "Islam" as it should be.
