You ought to have cautioned the politicians earlier.

Not at the fag end of your term.

When the talk is centered upon governance, you damned well know it is ultimately all the dirt of the politics that wins behind the facade of representing the people and their will.

While in the Sansad, only Heaven knows whether they (these LS members) act in the interest of the country, their party, or the retention of power.

Most of the time they are being prompted and largely herded into a particular direction in the name of the party discipline.

It is unfortunate we do not resort to referendums in Bharat Varsh for issues of national importance with far-flung consequences for the coming generations who would pay for our short-sightedness.

And the safed topis or the saffrons whoever is in power manipulate with the issues and pass legislations some of them being indeed anti-people.

Any person heading the apex is after all a civil servant largely faithful to the establishment rather than having loyalty and patriotism towards the nation as a whole and her inhabitants.
