Tackling terror's roots
by Ayatul Islam on Aug 27, 2005 06:39 PM   Permalink | Hide replies

Let the Learned people of the world Ponder on the Question "Why only a few countries are bombed by terrorists? Why only London,France,Spain and... Why not others?Dear all, If U are following a religion then try finding the answers to these questions in the circle of your religious teachings, and not on the basis of Your own ANALOGY because "TRUTH can be one ONE". If fighting for justice is bad or wrong then MAHABHARATA WAR was wrong RAMAYANA was wrong and........If you want to know the sufferings of PALESTINIANS try to learn about the problems of the kashmiri pundits..... Nothing more to say.Don't keep double standards in mind while searching for truth else you will be liable to answer your own GOD (If he exists)one day .
But only one thing The picture painted by the media is that none of the muslims in the world is a good being.
When 40 people are killed in London -MAKES HEADLINE and what about 25000 people killed in IRAQ war. Every one is terrorized by US.The US wants to monopolize everything . Now that can't be allowed. If you guys can allow that then Allow it But i will fight till the end of my life to fight it anywhere i am and any way possilble. Root cause of terror is USA.

Mr. Islam,

Just because terrorists perceive they are fighting for justice it does not mean that they are really fighting for justice. India has been subject to mindless terror in the name of Kashmir, on that count alone can it be said that terror is justified?

All new thoughts and ideas begin as minority opinion and acquire acceptance over time. Democracy is the mechanism that serves as a crucible for minority opinion and enables the valid ones to attain mass acceptance, and this includes even religious affairs.

Democratic means are available to establish rule of law and make all opinions heard to fashion a sovereign Iraq, why the terror then? Same is true in Afghanistan. Why do the Taliban terrorists insist on imposing their own brand of dated beliefs on everybody? Terrorism is unholy and senseless means to achieve any objective. Gandhiji equated truth with non-violence. Violent means imply false conclusions and go against the grain of democracy.
