Last night the tragedy of building collapse happened. We have our rooms on the ground floor of the same building. But, since, we are staying in suburbs now, we are safe by the grace of Almighty God. This building off course is an old building. There are many such buildings in the same locality. In various maintenance happened to this building and my father everytime contributed more than the others. Here the sad part is the new landlord of the building. His name is Babu Qureishi, came from Kanpur city, bought this building with the help of local goons, and started harassing the tenants. Since, he has no business, he is regularly making false complints of tenants in BMC and police station and demanding money. The worst example of his mischeif is that he had constructed an illegal room in the chowk of the building with the help of local goons. I hope some strict action shall be taken against him after this incidence, as more than 11people died since reported. Saeed Khan
