Hindu Spine
by Khalid on Aug 13, 2005 10:02 AM   Permalink | Hide replies

It is immaterial that Hindus are discriminated against in Bangladesh, Muslims in India and all over the world. The crux of the matter is it is minority which bears the brunt everywhere. Be it Bangladesh, Pakistan or India.....

To imply that just because India is constittionally secular there is no discrimination is to deny the obvious. Similarly, to deny if there is no systematic genocide occuring everytime during riots against muslims is denying the obvious once again.

Similarly, not to acknowledge that Pakistan and Bangladesh commit harakiri against minorities is ignorance.

But there is a difference. In Pakistan and Bangladesh, the minority among the people do it. In India, the government does it.

Well Khalid u need to check ur facts.

If govt sponsors such anti minority activity in india and a "small group" of people in the case of pakistan and bangladesh as u said then why is it that the population of muslims today in india is much higher than what it was during 1947 and is projected to be around 40-50% by 2050 whereas in pakistan it has gone down from around 20+ to 2% which is alarming....even in bangladesh it has gone down to 10%......

That's very inaccurate. It's the ideology of Pakistan and Bangladesh, as well as the Kashmiri movement, that is partly responsible for the drastic reduction in the Hindu population in these areas. An ideology that gives murderous mobs sanction for their horrible deeds, and protection from any punitive action.
