Yeah...I agree with the view regarding bifurcation of Mumbai for better governance. But more important than that is the change in the mindset of our rulers/politicians. With the present "we care a damn attitude" towards the common man ; there is no guarantee that things will be better even if the bifurcation does take place. The malaise runs much deeper.
I feel that it is in these times that the TRUE role of the masses need to emerge. I remember the days when the teleserial 'Ramayana' was being aired. The electricity played traunt once and lo behold there was a dharna near their office and they had to restore the power asap. If we can get united for a mere Teleserial....then CAN WE NOT GET TOGETHER TO SAVE OUR VERY OWN LIVES ? That is the question that we need to ask ourselves. Even GOD only helps those who help themselves.
