This is no time for blame-games.We need to take stock of ourselves and get real.Natarajan's letter among others make me cry. We now need to strike fire in our hearts and stoke the flames of unity and togetherness. This is the time for unity and for plannning a new city for the next century. Too long have we allowed the politicians to loot the family silver and state governments in power to cart away the reserves earned by the toil, the tears and the sweat of previous generations who believed in good governance and integrity. The business community have also been party to the rape of these seven islands bequeathed by the Portuguese in dowry to the English who, raised a city to the architectural splendour of London. The seeds of bitter dissent and exploitation sowed during the last 58 years have reaped a self-destruct whirlwind. Minorities like Parsis and Anglo-Indians have migrated. While the city abounds in slums and more slums, all electoral breeding-grounds for expedient political parties and by MumbaDevi, haven't they done well ? Bollywood,ShivSainiks,apathy.. are only the tip of the iceberg which has crashed into this titanic-hearted city which will rise again. Jai Mumbai
