Hate to go back to the place called HOME
by Usha Dhanpal on Aug 03, 2005 04:31 PM   Permalink

My husband were stuck up in the office like many others that too in Kalina. I left office and reached my parent\\\'s house on Tuesday evening. By that time, my tution student had called up from Kalyan to tell me that my house was slowly going under water and the next day morning I came to know that the water was reaching the first floor. My husband who reached only the next day night and Myself are both thankful to BPL and Reliance for keeping their services intact.
The next day was the torture to reach the house and on opening to find the cylinders floating, the TV on the floor, the refrigerator on the floor, all my precious books stenching and not any clothes to wear. Cleaning became a horrifying thing coz of the stench , snakes (2 we found and hand to kill). We had recently shifted to this house after we were robbed in the earlier house where we resided. This house was on loan and both of us were slogging it out by giving tutions to nearby students.
Fortunately we have insured everything but then almost all of the electronic goods - the PC, music system, the TV, refrigerator all gone. No bed to sleep no clothes to wear and no water to drink. Horrifying days we spent.
