i agree with the view that was expressed by ministers of maharashtra regarding mr deshmukh not being very assertive and not being able to handle the situation. i have seen instances on news channels where a mound of garbage was heaped at places like kurla on monday the first of august. was it not the duty of bmc workers to clean the same and prevent the outbreak of an epidemic. similarly workers of bmc were very slow to action on wednesday after the tragedy hit mumbai. also reliance energy should be pulled up and made to provide answers to the gaffs committed by it in supplying electricity to many areas in mumbai. even the maharashtra government should be asked to give answers as to why this incident occurred inspite of their having in place a disaster management plan.
