Dear Rajeev, While your anti-China statement is palpable. Do pause to consider future realities and the reality of common sense. Japanese companies in India are not exactly the do gooders in India. Indeed companies like Honda are eyeing a takeover of Hero honda at a later stage. Also Japan was one of the staunchest critics of our nuke tests and it demanded accountability fo calalmity relief funds that it sent to India. And By no means does Chian enjoy such a free reign to capture the worl. Bear in mind, the U.S. strong presence in E Asia, and also Russia's growing aspirations. Japan itself has the cpapcity to go nuclear, even though, the US will not allow India to directly proliferate to Japan. And it is totally imbecile to expect 'single spoilt' brats to go delinquent and get killed in a war. China as a matter of fact is reducing the strength of the massive PLA. What India needs to do is forge a series of stategic alliances with each of the competing powers. The US to balance China, China to balance the US. Russia to provide arms, Israel for cutting edge technology and even European majors like France. It is in these subtle nuances can we carve out our unique place

i can not understand one thing from you reply mr. that what exactly you were trying to say ...i guess all you want to say is "india should combine stragetically with every country without getting into the Cultural or Emotional aspect" is that what you want to say Mr.???
