If the question is are women safe from the cops ? then it is a big YES. Not all the cops are capable of such perversion. Does it mean that women are safe from the civilians who are not cops? then it is a big NO. Because you can never apprehend the thousand men of young and old who live on such fantasies every time an innocent girl passes by. Mumbai is safe and it is unsafe. It is both. It all depends on the amount of repression that the society here has undergone in the name of culture and tradition.
I agree with abhijit majumdar to a great extent. A simple fact but so alarming.
