Appropriate Move?

Instead of moaning, groaning like a pack of cowards we should impose some kind of embargo on colas/pizzas.of course this will draw howls from the pseudo-american characters who survive on such trash, it would indeed teach americans that we do matter,as a nation.

i agree with you totally.

in fact we should do it regardless of whether usa gives F16s to pakistan or patriots to china.

we should just boycott american goods and back indian companies. remember everytime someone buys a pepsi or a coke usa gets richer. and by opting to buy a cunsumer good like say a washing machine from ifb, instead of videocon, we arnt in any way supporting our home economy. rememember that all the mnc companies that have flocked to india today, to make a profit out of our hard earned money, have a very gsecure stronghold in their home markets. and thats why they could turn mnc's. if we wont support out own companies, then we will never ever have world beaters.

it will be great if REDIFF could get an expert to write an article on these lines - that can we hasten our own progress and development by backing our own companies like maruti and amul, instead of ford and cadbury? because for every ford or cadbury bought by india, some foreign counrty gets richer and we getr poorer. dada bhai naoroji's drain theory !!

We can also ban all educated indians flocking to the US consulate from going to the USA. We can also ban the rich NRI's from there, from sending huge donations to the RSS , VHP etc !
