I don't understand what Archana Masih wants to write. Poverty and self defense are two different things. Once Gandhiji said "If someone slaps you on one side of the face show him the other" but that was in a different context. Here no one is going to slap you but Pakistan and China will cut your throat and you do not have two throats to show. Similarly if you cannot protect yourself after your enemy attacks and you will live no longer what will you do with money or no money
