We are forced to spend money on arms because of the presence of people in every part of the world. They are yet to understand the meaning of civilization, democracy and above all the United Nations. Most disputes between countries could be resolved if only countries submit themselves to a common code of conduct. Unfortunately though we still have politicians all over the world who believe in the use of reckless force and wars in place of negotiated settlement. Wars are aberrations of civilizations. We neither need to legitimize these nor glorify it
