Kashmir the muslim dominated state decided to join the indian Union and took a principled stand not to join the islamist Pakistan . The then National Conference leader the grand father of Omar Abdulla who was a freedom fighter and a state man persuaded all of kashmir and Indians offered the, seperate status. 30 Years under India they neither prospered nor the commitment of special status was kept in real sprit . Yes Kashmiris have reasons to feel dejected. If there is any Indians born of a single fater he needs to satnd up for the couse of this state rather than blow the trumpet on its militatry might which has been any way proven good for nothing in any case for the last 30 years

it decided to join only becasue the king was hindu dont forget hyderabad which wanted a separate state becasue it was ruled by muslim...get ur facts correct. Omar abdullah wwhat the heck....it was the mistake of nehru that he took it to the UN there would not have been controversy...
JUst tell me one thing would there had been any controvorsy if there would have been a majority hindu state...I bet not...what ur sense says now we are responsible for that....seriously if u r an indian I am shame of u ...I dont care whether u r msulim or hindu....but god knows whats going to happen when we have citizens like you....
