this was a cheap political move by congress as usual to get votes just few months before election ..they tried to increase their support base among jammu hindus and perhaps thought that it wont be such an issue with the kashmiris .. but the move backfired and they ended up losing both kashmir as well as jammu .. the election results are more tha predictable now if carried out sincerely .. bjp will sweep the hindu dominated areas of jammu region and national conference will sweep kashmir region as well as muslim dominated areas of jammu region .. national conference ,,most likely ,will be forming the next government with BJP being the main opposition ..a gift from congress to bjp and nc

CM Azad never wanted to work in kashmir and always wanted to return to the center so what better way than to make sure that congress loses elections in J&K and he goes back to Delhi and centerstage.
NC will win if Hurriyat as usual doesn't participate.
