The Jodha myth was created by K Asif for Mughal e Azam and it made good money, as well as confirmed Muslim rights to what was left of India after partition. Akbar's empire, won by the brilliant Raja Maan Singh was a Hindu/Mughal coalition which is unprecedented in Muslim history. The Mughal Empire died with Aurangzeb and by the time of the coming of the British, India was firmly entrenched in Hindu power except for Muslim pockets in Bengal, Awadh & Deccan.
