.. who helped Indians by getting rid of the mughal rulers, getting freedom from human British was relatively easier than the barbaric mughals. We cant imagine what would have happened to India if it had continued under these lousy badshahs

Where did u get this information?? British never had to confront much Mughal or Muslims...the Mughals were gone when the British arrived..the last one Bahadur Shah didnt even control Delhi properly and was simply a figurehead adopted for convenience. He simply stayed at home brooded and wrote bad Urdu poems. India was very much Hindu except for Bengal where they had the bad nawab Sirajuddowla, Awadh where they had Wajid Ali Shah and in Deccan where they had a competent guy Tipu Sultan.

You are right. Moghuls were finished off in many places by the Marathas. But in South Tipu Sultan and Nizam were ruling. Tipu and Siraj Dowla were finished of by the Brits.
